Bangladesh all-rounder Nasir Hossain has played a big role in Atlanta Fire's second consecutive win in the United States Unity Cup. SOCA Blue Jays were bowled out for just 105 runs by Nasir-Justin Dill's bowling skills. In response, Nasir's team Atlanta won by eight wickets with 62 balls in hand.

Atlanta won the toss and decided to bowl first. Nasir came to bowl as the third bowler for Atlanta and dismissed two middle-order batters. Raja Herman (4 runs off 5 balls) and Anirudh Immanuel (10 runs off 10 balls) were dismissed by Nasir. Along with Nasir, other bowlers of Atlanta also bowled well.

Nasir conceded 16 runs in four overs with 11 dot balls. Apart from this, Dill took two wickets for 13 runs, Amila Aponsu got two wickets for 16 runs and Corne Dry had two wickets for 15 runs.

Atlanta opener Zain Syed went down to bat for an easy target but was dismissed for 2 runs off 6 balls and another opener Lahiru Milantha departed with 3 runs off 7 balls. But Atlanta did not lose any more wickets. They won by eight wickets in just 9.4 overs thanks to the tornado innings of 62 runs from only 27 balls by Aaron Jones of the United States national cricket team and the innings of 34 runs from 19 balls by former Pakistani cricketer Sami Aslam. Jones was the man of the match.

It should be noted that Nasir's team had won the match earlier too. Nasir's contribution to Atlanta's 40-run win was 11 runs with the bat and took one wicket in two overs.
