Bangladesh batter Mushfiqur Rahim has reached the milestone of 14,000 runs in international cricket across three formats. Mushfiqur touched this feat on the fourth day of the Dhaka Test against Ireland.

Mushfiqur had a great run in the Ireland series. He was in front of a new milestone after registering the fastest century record among Bangladeshi batters in ODIs. Before the Test series, Mushfiqur was approaching the milestone of 14,000 runs.

After the innings of 126 runs in the first innings, it became easier for Mushfiqur. In the second innings, he was only 8 runs away i.e. his run was 13,992. In the second ball of the 10th over, he pushed Andy McBrine’s ball toward cover and reached the milestone of 14,000 runs with one run.

Currently, he has 14021 runs in 479 innings across three formats. And batting average is 34.11. Mushfiqur has joined his teammate Tamim Iqbal. However, this opener entered the 14 thousand club earlier. A few days ago, he became the first Bangladeshi to reach the milestone of 15,000 runs.

Tamim's batting average is 35.55. After Mushfiqur, Shakib is in the race to join the 14 thousand club. His runs in 452 innings are 13,885, average 34.71. There is no other cricketer around these three cricketers.
