Another season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is knocking at the door. The new team ready to enter the field of BPL in the new season is Durdanto Dhaka. Mosaddek Hossain will be seen as the captain of Dhaka in this tournament.

There are several experienced local cricketers in the new-style Dhaka. Captain Mosaddek along with two pacers Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam are Dhaka's trump cards. Apart from this, well-known faces of domestic cricket, Irfan Sukkur, Saif Hassan, and Naim Sheikh will also play in Dhaka's jersey. Except for Irfan, all others have experience of playing international cricket. Chaturanga de Silva, Usman Qadir, Sadeera Samarawickrama stars are among foreigners in Dhaka. All in all, Dhaka has a good team to fight against.

Mosaddek is often captained in domestic cricket. Earlier, Mosaddek served as the captain in a match in international cricket. Apart from batting, bowling, captaincy - Mosaddek will have a busy time wearing Dhaka's jersey.

In the opening match of the BPL on January 19, Dhaka will take the field against the current champions Comilla Victorians. The game will start at 2:30 pm Bangladesh time.
