Australia have had a superb day at the Gabba. But relentless rain has enforced the match to have an early stumps. Alex Carey notched up a fifty and stretched Australia's total to 445 runs. And then Mitchell Starc and other pacers early burst reduced India to 51-4.

Australia have added some more runs to their overnight score. But the score rate wasn’t as fast as everyone was thinking to have. Alex Carey motored Australia's innings as his well made 70 off just 88 balls helped the Aussies get to a massive 445 runs on the board.

For india, it was Jasprit Bumrah who was the pick of the bowlers as his 6 wickets haul. While Mohammad Siraj had two wickets and Akash Deep and Nitish Reddy had one wicket each.
In reply, Yashasvi Jaiswal had a lucky boundary off the first delivery but Mitchell Starc had him out in the very next delivery.

Starc did further damage removing Shubman Gill with Josh Hazlewood had Virat Kohli once again bowling at the fourth stumps. India were stuttering on 22-3. Rishabh Pant came in but Australia captain Pat Cummins got him once again as India succumbed to 44-4.

India need more 394 runs to touch the Aussies first innings total. But the weather is the only challenge Australia need to face as today's rain completely ruined the entire day.
