This remarkable feat places Starc in elite company, equaling West Indies pacer Pedro Collins, who also achieved the milestone three times. Collins famously dismissed Bangladesh's Hannan Sarkar on the first ball of three separate Tests.

Starc’s incredible feat brings back memories of Pedro Collins’ first-ball dismissals of Hannan Sarkar during the 2002 Dhaka Test, the 2004 St. Lucia Test, and the Jamaica Test in the same series. Hannan remains the only player to be dismissed on the first ball of a Test match three times, alongside India’s legendary Sunil Gavaskar.
