West Indies lost wickets in the last session but managed to make all important 129 runs to seal three-wicket victory. As far as Bangladesh are concerned, the hosts lacked intent. Even Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who bagged yet another four-for, failed to make any impact in the defining day of the Test. Shakib Al Hasan was missing on the field but passed words on to his teammates. His participation in the second Test in Dhaka starting from February 11 is under scrutiny. Bangladesh are still on zero points in the World Test Championship.
