South Africa have dominated the entire day two at Kingsmead, Durban. It was Merco Jansen's carnage of sever-fer which helped the Proteas go on top after the end of day two.

South Africa were on 80-4 and they managed to get only 191 runs on the board. Skipper Temba Bavuma played a valiant knock of 70 to help his side get to a fighting total of 191 runs.
Lahiru Kumara and Asitha Fernando picked up three wickets each, while Vishwa Fernando and Prabath Jayasuriya had two wickets each.
In reply, Marco Jansen ran riot through the Sri Lanka's batting order. Marco Jansen picked up seven wickets, while Gerald Coetzee had two wickets to his name and Sri Lanka were all-out for only 42 runs, which is their lowest ever total.
In the third innings, Tony de Zorzi and Aiden Markram added 47 runs on the opening stand before Prabath Jayasuriya removed de Zorzi on his 17. Wiaan Mulder came down at No. 3 and scored 15 runs and was immediately trapped lbw by Prabath Jayasuriya. Markram, however, played a superb knock on a tough deck, scoring a gritty 47 off 81 deliveries before being knocked out to Vishwa Fernando.
Skipper Temba Bavuma is still unbeaten on the crease and scored 24* off 45 balls and South Africa are on 132-3, leading Sri Lanka by 281 runs.
