Bangladesh have a good record against Zimbabwe in Tests recently. They have won the last four Test matches against Zimbabwe including a 3-0 whitewash at home four years ago.
Mahmudullah stated at the press conference that the Tiger batsmen are capable to facing the likes of Kyle Jarvis and Chris Mpofu.
"We are not worrying about any particular bowler. I guess our batsmen are enough skillful to play them. Their bowling attack is also good. I don't think any of our batsmen are worrying about any bowler specifically," he said at the pre-match press conference on Friday.

"It looks good. Usually we see it (ringing the bell) happening before the start of play at at Lord's Cricket Ground. It's great that this is going to happen in our venue as well," he said. "The stadium is beautiful, so as the atmosphere."
The pitch might offer spin. When asked about how Bangladesh are going to deal with Zimbabwe in the first Test, Mahmudullah replied, "Whether the match ends in three-four days or five days, completely depends on how we perform and how we take Zimbabwean team."
