Bangladesh have won the toss and elected to bowl first against USA in the second T20I of the three-match series on Thursday (May 23) in Prairie View.

Bangladesh have made two changes to the team. They have dropped Litton Das and Mahedi Hasan to bring in Tanzid Hasan Tamim and Tanzim Hasan Sakib. On the other hand, USA make only one change. Shadley Van Shalkwyk comes in for Noshtush Kenjige.

USA created history as they beat Bangladesh by 5 wickets on Wednesday (22nd May) in Houston. Steven Taylor's brilliant bowling reduced Bangladesh to a paltry 153 on the board. In reply Harmeet Singh and Corey Anderson's unbeaten 62 run stand off just 28 balls helped USA create history. This is USA's maiden victory in T20I's over a full-time Test nation.

After the series against USA, the Tigers will face USA again in a World Cup warm-up match. Additionally, in their second and final warm-up match of the World Cup, they will face India. Bangladesh will not face either the USA or India in the group stage of the World Cup. In this year's T20 World Cup, featuring 20 teams, Bangladesh is in 'Group D.' Group D includes Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Netherlands, and Nepal.

Bangladesh will start their T20I World Cup campaign with a match against Sri Lanka on June 8 in USA. There will be another match in USA for Bangladesh, against Bangladesh, on June 10. The other two matches against Netherlands and Nepal will be in West Indies.
