Kolkata Police troll Shanto for taking a bizarre review
This hilarious review of Bangladesh was seen on the first day of the second Test of the series in Chattogram. By the 44th over of Sri Lanka's innings, the hosts had picked up just one wicket. When Bangladesh were desperate to break the pair of Dimuth Karunaratne and Kusal Mendis, Kusal defended a delivery from Taijul Islam.

After being made fun of on social media for getting the wrong reviews, the Kolkata Police have put out an ad about Najmul Hossain Shanto. The ad makes fun of the reviews that were written in Bangladesh by comparing them to tempting links. Meanwhile, Wisden Cricket called Shanto's take on the review the greatest review failure of all time.
Thinking that the ball had hit his leg, the fielding captain, standing at slip, calmly appealed to the umpire for lbw.
Naturally, as the umpire rejected the appeal, Shanto opted for a review. But neither bowler Taijul nor wicketkeeper Litton Das responded positively. Rod Tucker referred responsibility for the decision to third umpire Chris Gaffaney. Gaffaney didn't even have to resort to an ultra-edge on review, as replays clearly showed the ball hit the middle of the bat, even though the front foot was far away. Shanto lost reviews and became a victim of trolls.
Kolkata Police has made an advertisement with Shanto's review. Shanto's reviews are shown in a post as consequences of clicking on tempting links and losing reviews. Wisden headlined their article, “‘Oh dear!’ – Bangladesh bizarrely opt for DRS lbw review despite batter middling ball.” Various examples of Shanto being trolled due to ridiculous reviews have been highlighted on social media.
