England legendary fast bowler James Anderson is now the hot cake for an unnamed franchise in the Major League Cricket 2025.

James Anderson showed his desires to return to white-ball Cricket and as a result an unnamed franchise are now set to ask questions whether the great Jimmy would be interested in joining in the third edition of the T20 tournament in the United States of America next year.

Anderson could earn about £135,000 from a short stint in MLC, which lured some international big names from the World Cricket for the 2024 edition.

The most high profile of those was the Australian Test captain Pat Cummins, who has a lucrative contract with the San Francisco Unicorns until 2027, who went onto finish as the runners-up of MLC 2024.

Fellow Australians Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell and Travis Head were all part of the star-studded Washington Freedom team, coached by Ricky Ponting, which won this year's tournament by beating San Francisco Unicorns.

Anderson, who finished with a tally of 704 Test wickets, retired from international cricket after the first Test against West Indies at Lord's in July. He immediately joined in the England coaching stuff. He also wants to continue his role of fast bowling mentorship of England team in the series against Pakistan in October.

Anderson's last competitive T20 match was back in 2014, when he played in the T20 Blast for Lancashire.
