Comilla Victorians wicket keeper batter Jaker Ali Anik replaced injured Aliss Islam for the upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka, starts from 4th March, Sylhet. Aliss Islam was ruled out due to his finger injury.

Barring the final, Jaker Ali was brutal in power hitting. But he was under tough scrutiny for his sedate 23 run innings off 20 balls in the final.

After the news of Aliss Islam, BCB has included Jaker Ali in the next statement. Jaker Ali was sublime in the BPL 2024. He played 10 innings at down the order as a finisher and scored 199 runs at a staggering strike rate of 141.13 at an average of 99.5. Despite not having any fifties to his name, he was quite quick-fire throughout the tournament.

The T20I series against Sri Lanka commences from 4th March, Sylhet. And the other two matches are on 6th March and 9th March respectively. All of those T20I's are will be at SICS, Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
