Hardik Pandya, captain of the Indian cricket team, expressed disappointment in the subpar facilities they encountered during their time in Tarouba, stating that "it's time" for Cricket West Indies (CWI) to take notice and fix the problems.

West Indies and India face each other in the series-deciding final ODI on Tuesday. The venue for the final match of the series was the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad. The ODI debut of this stadium, with immense natural beauty and modern facilities, made with this match. Batting first, India scored 351 runs with half-centuries by Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill, Sanju Samson, and Hardik Pandya.
In response, West Indies were bowled out for just 151 runs. India won the match by 200 runs and won the series by 2-1. After the match, India's acting captain Pandya was asked about the ground. He then brought up the issue of the mismanagement of their visit.
Hardik said, "This was one of the nicest grounds we have played. Things can be better when we come to West Indies next time. From travelling to managing a lot of things. Last year also, some hiccups happened. I think it's time for West Indies Cricket to take note of it and make sure that when a team travels... We don’t ask for luxury but we need some basic necessities taken care of. Other than that, really enjoyed coming here and playing some good cricket.”
Pandya did not specify the areas of management deficiency. However, there have been reports in the press about late night flights, flight delays, cricketers being forced to spend the night at the airport.
There have been complaints from various teams in the past about the inconvenience of traveling from one island to another and mismanagement at various stages of the tour during the tour of the foreign cricket teams to the Caribbean island. However, the management did not change much.
