Rajasthan Royals head coach Rahul Dravid has put all speculation to rest about any rift in the Royals’ camp during IPL 2025. Addressing the viral video clip that showed Sanju Samson not actively involved in the Super Over planning against Delhi Capitals Dravid called the rumors "completely baseless" and confirmed that he and Samson are fully aligned.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Dravid firmly denied any internal conflict.

“I don't know where these reports are coming from. Sanju and I are on the same page,” said the legendary former India skipper.

“He's a very integral part of our team. He's involved in every single decision and discussion. Yes, we’ve had some losses, and when that happens, criticism comes your way. But this sort of talk is just noise — it’s not true.”

The video that sparked these rumors surfaced after RR’s Super Over defeat to Delhi Capitals. In the clip Samson appeared distanced during strategy talks leading to speculation among fans and pundits. But Dravid insists that the team spirit remains strong.

“The spirit in this group is fantastic. I’m really impressed with how hard these guys are working. What people don’t often realize is how much the players themselves hurt when things don’t go right,” he added.

The Rajasthan Royals have had a rough campaign so far, with only two wins in seven games, currently placing them eighth in the IPL 2025 points table.
