Pakistan Cricket Selection Committee chairman and former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has urged the Indian cricket team to tour Pakistan and said that the two teams should play a series against each other.
Inzamam-ul-Haq has advocated for India to visit Pakistan, promoting cricket diplomacy and the two nations' mutual passion for the sport.
In a recent interview with the Indian media, the former cricketer highlighted the importance of cricket relations between India and Pakistan, echoing the sentiments of countless cricket enthusiasts in both countries. Inzamam-ul-Haq expressed his belief that the two cricket giants should play more matches against each other to promote goodwill and camaraderie between the neighboring nations.
Inzamam also praised the performance of the Pakistan team in the ongoing World Cup and said that they are playing very well. He praised the performance of all the players and said that Abdullah Shafique and Mohammad Rizwan played very good innings against Sri Lanka.
Inzamam-ul-Haq visited India after a long time despite playing several matches in the country. While returning to India for the World Cup, the legendary batsman stayed with the team in Hyderabad but also paid a visit to Amritsar, a cheerful city in India's Punjab.
Separately, the Pakistan cricket team arrived in Ahmedabad on Wednesday ahead of their upcoming ICC World Cup 2023 match against India at the Narendra Modi Stadium on October 14. The match between India and Pakistan is one of the most awaited matches in cricket and Team Pakistan seems well prepared for this highly anticipated clash.
