Imam-ul-Haq, Abrar Ahmed included in Pakistan Shaheens squad

Pakistan Shaheens have announced their squad for the second four-day match against Bangladesh A. Kamran Ghulam will lead the side, which includes several players who have featured for Pakistan's national team.
Imam-ul-Haq, once a regular opener for Pakistan, is part of the Shaheens squad. After a dip in form, Imam has found himself out of the national side but will be seen in action against Bangladesh A in the upcoming match.
Also included in the squad is Abrar Ahmed, who made headlines with his impressive debut bowling performance against England in Tests. Umar Amin, who showcased excellent batting in the first four-day match, has retained his place in the squad. Other notable players include Ghulam Mudassar, Mehraj Mumtaz, and Qasim Akram.
The first four-day match was heavily affected by rain, with an entire day’s play being washed out. However, Pakistan Shaheens were in a dominant position before the match ended in a draw. In the second match, Bangladesh A will be bolstered by the inclusion of Taskin Ahmed, who is also in the national squad. Taskin, who has been away from red-ball cricket for some time, will use this match to sharpen his fitness and skills.
The second four-day match between Bangladesh A and Pakistan Shaheens will begin on August 20, followed by a three-match ODI series.
