A sensational four-fer from Harshal Patel and brilliant bowling from Pat Cummins and Jaydev Unadkat reduced CSK to 154 runs. In reply, Ishan Kishan's gritty 44 off 34 deliveries and Kamindu Mendis' unbeaten 32* off 22 balls steered SRH home.
Being asked to bat first, Mohammed Shami removed Shaik Rasheed on the very first ball. Harshal Patel then had Sam Curran as CSK fell into trouble earlier on. Ayush Mhatre was in good touch and scored 30 off 19 balls before falling to Pat Cummins.
Dewald Brevis stood tall for CSK amid the collapse, scoring an excellent knock of 42 off just 25 deliveries, including 4 massive sixes and a boundary before falling to Harshal Patel as SRH reduced CSK to a paltry total of 154 runs.
In response, Khaleel Ahmed gave the hosts a superb start, removing danger man Abhishek Sharma for a two-ball duck. Anshul Kamboj got Travis Head rid off after his 19 off 16 deliveries.
