The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League has nearly reached the final stages. The likes of Gujarat Titans, Chennai Super Kings, Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians have qualified for the playoffs. RCB were in the race for the playoff but they lost to Gujarat Titans at home, which saw the end of the road for them.

The winner of this game will book their berth in the final whereas the losing team will play against the winner between LSG and MI in the Eliminator. There are plenty of exciting things in store for the fans as a lot of competitive cricket is set to be played in the final stages of the season.
In a recent interview, the Gujarat Titans captain echoed that he will always be an MS Dhoni fan. He further added that MS Dhoni is a dear friend and brother to him. Last but not least, he mentioned that one needs to be a devil to hate someone like MS Dhoni.
"I'll always be an MS Dhoni fan. He's a dear friend and a brother to me. You need to be a devil to hate someone like MS," Hardik Pandya further added. Under Hardik Pandya's captaincy, Gujarat Titans announced themselves in grand fashion in the previous season.
They made it all the way to the finals to beat Rajasthan Royals and won their maiden IPL title in their debut season. As far as this season is concerned, Gujarat Titans have once again qualified for the playoffs and have a great chance to defend the title, given that they have a strong team.
On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings qualified for the playoffs for the 12th time, which is the most by any team in the history of the Indian Premier League.
