Batting first, Dhaka Metro posted a solid total of 190 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In-form Naim Sheikh led the charge with a well-played 69 off 54 balls, maintaining a strike rate of 127.78. In addition to Naim and Shamsur, Anisul Islam Emon chipped in with 23 runs from 13 balls. Dhaka Division's bowlers, Suman Khan and Nazmul Islam Apu, each claimed two wickets, but it wasn't enough to stop Dhaka Metro from posting a competitive total.
In reply, Dhaka Division's chase got off to a rocky start, losing captain Saif Hassan in the very first over. However, Rony Talukdar, who had returned to the team after playing in the Lanka T10, played a crucial role in stabilizing the innings. He scored 39 runs off 19 balls before being dismissed.
With the chase faltering, Ariful Islam (42 off 31 balls) and Arafat Sunny Junior (29 off 32 balls) tried to fight back, but both fell short of making a game-changing impact. Toward the end, Taibur Rahman’s 21 off 12 balls helped reduce the margin of defeat, but Dhaka Division finished their innings with 171 runs, losing by 19 runs.
With this victory, Dhaka Metro continue their dominance in the tournament. Anisul Islam was the star with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 38 runs, leading the team to another comprehensive win.
