Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the departure of Curator Tony Hemming. Hemming is a well-known and respected person in cricket turf management. 

In July 2023, Tony Hemming was hired by BCB for a two-year term. Nevertheless, this curator left before the end of the contract. Tony Hemming's departure was confirmed by BCB today via a press release.

Nizamuddin Chowdhury, the CEO of BCB, congratulated Hemming for his significant contributions throughout his time there. "Tony Hemming has been an invaluable asset to the BCB, bringing his extensive knowledge and experience to enhance our cricketing infrastructure. His meticulous approach and dedication have raised the bar for ground preparation in Bangladesh, leaving a lasting impact on our facilities,” he said.

The BCB wishes Tony Hemming the best in his future undertakings.

Tony Hemming was an expert and consultant on cricket grounds in Australia before moving to Bangladesh. He also served as Chief Curator of the ICC Cricket Academy, Dubai International Cricket Stadium, and ICC Pitch Consultant at the Oman Cricket Academy. Aside from that, he has worked as Arena Manager at Optus Stadium in Perth, International Presenter and Educator at the ICC Cricket Academy, and Arena Manager at King Fahd International Football Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
