Chigumbura enters 4000-run club

Zimbabwe failed to capture a win against Bangladesh in the second match of the series as well; they had to receive a crushing defeat of 58 runs at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. Still amidst that, Zimbabwe captain Elton Chigumbura has reached to very special personal milestone.
Chigumbura scored 47 today and was the highest scorer of his team. He also stitched a 73-run stand with Sikandar Raza for the 5th wicket. And in the process, the Zimbabwe skipper has also completed his 4000 runs in One-Day Internationals.
And now he has become the sixth batsman in the history of Zimbabwe cricket to surpass the milestone of 4000 runs. He has also bagged 98 wickets in ODIs till date. Besides he has so far was part of the Zimbabwe team in 17 Tests and 35 T20Is. Chigumbura is considered as one of the greatest talent in Zimbabwe cricket history.
