Rohit Sharma was compelled to play as an Impact Player for Mumbai Indians against Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday due to "mild back stiffness."

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Piyush Chawla stated, "He just had a slight back stiffness, so it was more of a precautionary measure."

Rohit managed to score 11 runs off 12 balls as MI fell short in chasing down a target of 170 on the unpredictable Wankhede pitch. When questioned about MI's remaining motivation, Chawla responded frankly.
