On the second day of the National Cricket League (NCL), centuries from Aich Mollah and Marshall Ayub set the tone for Dhaka Metro’s commanding performance, while impressive bowling from Al-Amin Hossain and SM Meherob dominated the other fixtures.

Starting the day at 102 for 1 at Sylhet Academy Ground, Dhaka Metro faced an early setback when Imran Uzzaman fell after scoring 35 from 135 balls. However, Aich Mollah and Marshall Ayub steadied the ship with their powerful batting. Both players reached triple figures, with Mollah scoring a well-composed 122 off 250 balls, and Ayub contributing 127 runs from 199 deliveries. Notably, Ayub was dismissed in a rare fashion, becoming the second Bangladeshi batsman to be given out obstructing the field after a stellar innings. Shamsur Rahman also added an unbeaten 50 to help Dhaka Metro declare their innings at 408 for 5. Barishal's Kamrul Islam Rabbi took 2 wickets.

In response, Barishal Division closed the day at 22 for 0, with Abdul Mazid and Iftekhar Hossain at the crease.

At Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Rajshahi Division resumed on 385 for 4, but opener Farhad Hossain narrowly missed out on his century, falling for 93. Rajshahi's innings wrapped up at 426, as Khulna Division's Al-Amin Hossain took 5 wickets to lead the bowling attack, while Mahedi Hasan and Abdul Halim contributed with 2 wickets each.

Khulna, however, struggled in their reply and were bowled out for just 194. Ziaur Rahman’s unbeaten 54 off 53 balls was the only notable contribution. Rajshahi's SM Meherob was the star with the ball, claiming 6 wickets in an impressive display.

Over at Sheikh Abu Naser Cricket Stadium, Sylhet Division had a rough outing, getting bundled out for a paltry 146 runs in their first innings. Tanzim Hasan Sakib top-scored with 42 off 57 balls. Dhaka Division's bowling attack was spearheaded by Mohammad Enamul Haque and Nazmul Islam Apu, both taking 3 wickets each. In reply, Dhaka Division finished at 38 for 1, with Rony Talukdar and Sumon Khan remaining unbeaten.

In the final match at Bogura's Shaheed Chandu Stadium, only 21 overs of play were possible. Rangpur Division, facing Chattogram Division, reached 69 for 1 by the close of play, with Khalid Hasan unbeaten on 37 from 74 balls.
