England have thrashed Australia by a massive margin of 186 runs on Friday (September 27) at the Lord's. Triple fifties from Liam Livingstone, Harry Brook and Ben Duckett propelled England to a massive total of 312 runs inside the 39 overs.

After opting to bowl first, Australia didn't have their best way to start as they leaked runs at regular basis. England had 48-run opening stand before Josh Hazlewood removed Phil Salt. Ben Duckett blasted a fifty and scored 63 off 62 balls. It was the partnership between the English skipper Harry Brook and Wicket-keeper batter Jamie Smith, which changed the course of the match.

England had partnerships after partnerships and all were quick-fire and in no time. Brook hammered 87 off 58 deliveries at a jaw dropping strike rate of 150. Liam Livingstone finished things off nicely as he bludgeoned Mitchell Starc for 28 runs off the last over and uplifted England to 312 runs.

In reply, Australia had a very decent start as the openers Marsh and Head stitched a healthy 68-run opening stand before Brydon Carse knocked over Head. Jofra Archer then bowled a superb spell to remove Marsh and Australia were in deep trouble.

Smith too gifted his wicket away to Matthew Potts, with Carse had Inglis. Australia had a terrible middle order collapse and their middle order, along with the top order couldn’t even stand infront of the quality English attack. Australia were bundled out for a paltry 126 runs and lost the game by a massive margin of 186 runs.
