The upcoming season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) promises to be an exciting one, especially with the structure of the players' draft now revealed. Players have been categorized into six distinct categories—A, B, C, D, E, and F—based on their performances and reputation. The salary range for the players varies widely, from a maximum of 60 lakh BDT to a minimum of 10 lakh BDT.

According to sources from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), BDCricTime has confirmed the full list of players for the draft. The 'A' category, featuring the highest-paid cricketers, includes some of the most well-known faces in the national team. Litton Das, Mahmudullah Riyad, Shoriful Islam, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Rishad Hossain, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mustafizur Rahman, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Towhid Hridoy, and Taskin Ahmed have all secured a spot in this top category.

The ‘B’ category, with a salary of 40 lakh BDT, includes prominent players like Afif Hossain, Anamul Haque Bijoy, Hasan Mahmud, Jaker Ali Anik, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Shamim Hossain, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Parvez Hossain Emon, Mahedi Hasan, Tanvir Islam, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib.

The 'C' category players, who will earn 25 lakh BDT, include Ebadot Hossain, Imrul Kayes, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Mohammad Mithun, and Zakir Hasan, among others.

Meanwhile, players in the 'D', 'E', and 'F' categories will earn salaries of 20 lakh, 15 lakh, and 10 lakh BDT, respectively.

A total of 188 cricketers will be available for selection in the upcoming draft, scheduled to take place on October 14.

Reigning champions Fortune Barishal are aiming to defend their title after a successful run in the previous season. They triumphed over Comilla Victorians in the final to claim the championship last year.
