The ECB (England Cricket Board) has announced 17-men squad for the upcoming Pakistan tour for three-match Test series under World Test Championship schedule. Captain Ben Stokes returns to the squad as he's recovering from hamstring tear.

Ben Stokes was out of the recently concluded Sri Lanka series where the Ollie Pope side led England beat Sri Lanka by 2-1. Stokes had a hamstring tear and he's recovering from his injury. Also the dynamic opener Zak Crawley has returned to the squad after missing the same series for a broken injury.
Jack Leach has made his return to the Test set-up for the first time since January 2024. 20 year- old Josh Hull is included in the squad for his first tour with England.

Ben Stokes (C), Rehan Ahmed, Gus Atkinson, Shoaib Bashir, Harry Brook, Brydon Carse, Jordan Cox, Ben Duckett, Zak Crawley, Josh Hull, Jack Leach, Ollie Pope, Matthew Potts, Joe Root, Jamie Smith, Ollie Smith, Chris Woakes.
The last time England toured Pakistan was a complete thrashing to the hosts as it was the introduction of Bazball Cricket to the international arena and Pakistan were drubbed by McCullum and Stokes duo by 3-nil.
The venues for the three-match Test series are yet to be confirmed. However, an announcement is expected from the Pakistan Cricket Board later this week.
