Bangladesh Women's team are set to play three T20Is and two ODIs against Pakistan at their den and only a security clearance is now pending to get the series going.
BCB women's wing chairman Nadel Chowdhury informed on Monday that security agencies are expected to visit Pakistan to assess the condition.
"We are waiting for the security clearance from our government for the tour of our women's team to Pakistan. A delegation of our security agencies are expected to visit Pakistan to assess the condition and after they give their report we will decide our future course of action."
The national security agencies are expected to fly to Pakistan by this week, subject to obtaining the visa. A lot depends on this tour as Bangladesh men's team are also expected to tour Pakistan in February.
Recently,
toured Pakistan where they played three ODIs and three T20Is. However, a lot of quality players including some seniors didn't travel. The hosts won the ODI series 2-0 but got hammered in the T20I series as the visitors white-washed them 3-0.
