Mushtaq is returning again ahead of the Tigers' away series against Pakistan. But for now this comeback is for one series. When the Pakistan series is over, he will not be available again. However, BCB Cricket Operations Committee Chairman Jalal Yunus gave the news of relief. The board is trying to get this coach who has brought big changes in a short time from next year.
Jalal Yunus said, "Mushtaq is staying in the Pakistan series. We will get him in the Pakistan series. He has some programs of his own ahead so he can't be in the rest of the series. He is busy till December. From January we will try to make a long-term contract. There is a positive vibe so far, let's see the rest.”
Meanwhile, many have raised questions about Chandika Hathurusingha as the head coach after two consecutive World Cup failures. However, Jalal Yunus said that the board has no idea of changing the head coach before the 2025 Champions Trophy.
