Bangladesh have won the toss and elected to field first T20I of the three match series against Afghanistan. In this series the Tigers will be aiming to comeback after losing the ODI series by a margin of 2-1 against the Afghans.
Captain Shakib Al Hasan opted to field first in a surprisingly bright sunny Sylhet. However, rain might have a say in this match, as there is rain forecasted later in the game.
Bangladesh have brought in two changes from their last T20I match against Afghanistan, as Nasum Ahmed and Mehidy Hasan Miraz are in the playing XI in place of Hasan Mahmud and Rishad Hossain.
Afghanistan did not include Mohammad Shahzad, who is returning to the squad, for the first T20I.
