The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is knocking at the door and for this each team has been announcing the squad for the tournament. Only Bangladesh are left to announce the squad.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has called a press conference tomorrow (May 14) at 12:30PM to announce the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

After the conclusion of five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe yesterday, the spots for the global tournament are clear to everyone. However, there is still some curiosity among cricket fans about who is taking the flight to West Indies and USA.

Mainly everyone is waiting for pacer Taskin Ahmed. The pacer got injured before the fifth T20I against Zimbabwe. BCB will announce the team after receiving his report. So, it is obviously an important decision to make as Taskin is an integral part of the T20 World Cup plan for Bangladesh.

Before the World Cup, Bangladesh have already played a series against Zimbabwe as a preparation which they win by 4-0. They will play another series against the United States which is scheduled to start on May 21. Basically, Bangladesh will play this series to get an idea about the conditions there.

In the T20 World Cup, Bangladesh will play their first match against Sri Lanka. These two teams will meet in Dallas on June 8. The next match will be on June 10, against South Africa. On June 13, they will take on the Netherlands. The Tigers' last match will be on June 17, against Nepal.
