To facilitate the crowd availability, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) have decided to sell tickets in nominal price. This will be the first ever bilateral tour of Bangladesh in their nearest neighbors during which the two nations will be engaged in two Test matches followed by T20I series comprised of three matches. The newly appointed chairman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Sourav Ganguly invited Bangladesh's honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to witness the Test match at the Eden Gardens. It is also reported that besides Bangladesh Prime Minister, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi might also present in the occasion. BCCI Chairman Sourav Ganguly also hoping to have all cricketers of the both countries who played in Bangladesh's inaugural Test match back in 2000 to witness the Eden Test. The gallery ticket price has been lowered to 50 Indian rupees whereas the usual ticket price of Eden gallery is 100 INR; CAB appex council announced. Apart from that, all other ticket prices have also been curtailed. General spectators can purchase tickets in 150, 100 and 50 INR instead of regular prices of 200, 150 and 100 INR.
