Lucknow Super Giants beat Rajasthan Royals by 2 runs on Saturday (April 19). Aiden Markram's 66 off 45 deliveries and Ayush Badoni's superb 50 off 34 balls helped the LSG get to 180 on the board. In response, despite Yashasvi Jaiswal's brilliant 74 off 52 deliveries couldn’t take RR home.

Opting to bat first, Mitchell Marsh was out earlier on. Sandeep Sharma then trapped Nicholas Pooran cheaply and Wanindu Hasaranga had Rishabh Pant as LSG were in deep trouble earlier on.

But Aiden Markram and Ayush Badoni stitched a crucial 76-run stand off just 49 deliveries before the departure of Markram after his excellent 66 off 45 deliveries. While Ayush Badoni made 50 off 34 balls and at the backend of the innings, Abdul Samad blasted an outstanding knock of 30* off just 10 balls as LSG finished their innings on 180 on the board.

In response, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi added a massive 85 runs opening stand inside 8.4 overs before the fall of Suryavanshi after his 34 off 20 balls. And since then wickets kept tumbling as three wickets fell in quick succession. At the last over, RR was needed 9 runs and Avesh Khan bowled a splendid over to give away only 6 runs and helping his side LSG hand a remarkable victory.
