Asia is the major country in the game of cricket as it has the highest full member teams in International Cricket Council as well as in the division levels too. There is always a special recognition for the Asian Cricket Council in the board circumstances at International level.
The main event organized by Asian Cricket Council is the Asia Cup which has a significant reputation among the people around the game, next to the tournaments hosted by International Cricket Council (ICC).
The board has announced its calendar of events for the next two years, 2019 and 2020. Now they are focusing more on developing the game in the emerging countries and trying to improvise the game at those countries.
In 2019, Asian Cricket Council will focus only on the emerging countries as they have planned to conduct U19 Western level, U19 Eastern level, U16 Eastern level, U1 Western level, U19 Asia Cup, Women's Emerging Teams Asia Cup, Emerging teams Asia Cup and some coaching programmes for women cricketers.
In 2020, they will be conducting Men's senior-level Western, Men's senior-level Eastern, Men's Asia Cup Qualifiers, Women's Asia Cup Qualifiers, Women's Asia Cup, U19 Asia Cup, and Emerging Teams Asia Cup.
