Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun Tendulkar recently hogged the limelight after he made his IPL debut against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. He bowled two overs against KKR wherein he conceded 17 runs in his debut match.

However, he ensured to tick all the boxes while playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad last night. He was tasked to defend 20 overs in the last over.

The youngster let his ball do all the talking as he conceded only 5 runs in the final over. Arjun Tendulkar helped the team defend the total. As a result, Mumbai Indians beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 14 runs.

Arjun Tendulkar received appreciation tweets and messages from across quarters of the cricket fraternity. He dismissed Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the penultimate ball of the 20th over to take his maiden IPL wicket. Having bowled 2.5 overs, he registered 1/18 at an impressive economy rate of 6.40.

Meanwhile, a video clip of Arjun Tendulkar executing toe-crushing yorkers has been doing the rounds on the internet. The footage surfaced online after how the young Tendulkar perfectly executed a barrage of yorkers against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last over of the game.

Before playing against SRH, Arjun Tendulkar literally worked his socks off in the training session and all his hard work bore fruit. As you can see in the video, Arjun Tendulkar engaged himself in an intense training session where he could be seen targeting the shoe that was kept narrowly just ahead of the stumps.

As it turned out, Arjun Tendulkar bowled a pristine yorker as he knocked the shoe out. At the post-match presentation, Arjun Tendulkar said, "Obviously it was great getting my first IPL wicket. I just had to focus on what was in hand, the plan and executing it. Our plan was just to bowl wide and get the long boundary into play, make the batsman hit it to the longer side," he added.

Furthermore, he said, "I love bowling, I am happy to bowl anytime the captain asks me to and just stick to the team plan and give my best. We (Sachin Tendulkar and him) talk about cricket, we discuss tactics before the game and he tells me to back what I practise every game. I just focused on my release, bowling good lengths and lines upfront. If it swings, it's a bonus, if it doesn't, so be it."
