However, thankfully it's all good for AB de Villiers and the RCB star changed the name for a noble cause which he later revealed through a tweet.
De Villiers informed that he changed his name to Paritosh Pant to give tribute to him. Pant, who is a restaurant owner fed free meals to the needy people during the lockdown. He fed nearly 3000 people in these difficult times. As a token of respect, the Proteas man decided to change his name.
"I salute Paritosh,who started ‘Project Feeding from Far’ with Pooja & fed meals 2 needy during the lockdown. I wear his name on my back this season 2 appreciate their challenger spirit," he tweeted.
