Five of the eleven bowlers who were reported during Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League 2016 are proved illegal by a bowling action test taken by the Bowling Action Review Committee (BARC). Rest of these have passed their action tests. (নিউজটি বাংলায় পড়ুন) Arafat Sunny at practice session

The five bowlers who are proved illegal: two left-arm spinners Foysal Hossain (Mohammedan) and Amitabh Kumar (Abahani), three right-arm off-break bowlers Mohammad Sharifullah (Kalabagan KC), Asif Ahmed (Rupganj) and Mustafizur Rahman (Gazi Group). They will be allowed to bowl till November 15, 2016. To avoid being suspended after the end of given deadline, these five bowlers are suggested to undergo a remedial process followed by a re-assessment of BARC. Besides, Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club's left-arm spinner Rezaul Karim is suspended from bowling arm-ball while Cricket Coaching School's right-arm pacer Mohammad Saifuddin is not permitted to bowl slower delivery. Left-arm spinners Moinul Islam (Gazi Group), Naeem Islam junior (Mohammedan), off-spinner Sanjit Saha (Brothers Union) and Arafat Sunny (Sheikh Jamal) have passed the action test by BARC. Arafat Sunny is the only national team player among these 11 bowlers who were reported during the DPL this year.
