3 Bangladesh players register their name for BBL players' draft

Two Bangladeshi cricketers have registered their names for Australia's Big Bash League (BBL) 2023-24 auction. But none of them play in the T20 format.
Taijul Islam is tagged as a Test cricketer of the Bangladesh team. Although he has also played ODIs in the past. However, he plays the short format of BPL every year. This left-arm spinner has given his name in the players' draft of foreign tournaments across the country.
Taijul's name is also on the list of 376 male cricketers. Apart from this left-arm spinner, Ripon Mondol, the pacer of the U19 team, is in the players’ draft. He also named in the players' draft of the last season of BBL. But remained unsold.
The other cricketer is in the women’s section. The popular all-rounder Jahanara Alam has given her name to the women’s BBL players’ draft.
Basically, BPL starts at the time of the Big Bash tournament. That's why Bangladeshi cricketers don't get a chance to play for the entire tournament. Big Bash T20 League players’ draft will be held within a week.
Cricket Australia (CA) has decided to increase the salary of the cricketers this year. Cricketers in the platinum category can earn $420,000. The entire money will be given to those who will play the entire season of BBL.
If contracted for 10 matches, according to the rules, the cricketers will get a salary of $400,000. The participation fee for nine matches will be $390,000. In the platinum category, those who are contracted for eight matches or less will get $360,000.
The salary of gold and silver category cricketers has been fixed at $ 300,000 and $200,000.
