Zimbabwe will play two Tests in Bangladesh in April 2025, as planned by the Future Tours Program (FTP).  At first, the series was supposed to include three ODIs and three T20Is. However, both cricket boards decided that Test cricket would be played instead of the limited-overs games.

·         Zimbabwe's Arrival in Bangladesh: April 15, 2024

·         First Test: April 20, 2024 – Sylhet International Cricket Stadium

·         Second Test: April 28, 2024 – Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has chosen other places to play the games instead of Mirpur, where matches have been played in the past.

After the Eid holidays, the Bangladesh Test team for the series should be made public in early April.  The Tigers will want to get back on track with a strong showing against Zimbabwe after their loss in the Champions Trophy.

Following this series, Bangladesh will go to Pakistan in May for a white-ball set that includes both ODIs and T20Is.

In the last two Tests, Bangladesh has a great record against Zimbabwe. In Mirpur in 2020, Bangladesh won by an innings and 106 runs, and in Harare in 2021, they won by 220 runs.
