Zimbabwe lock horns to face the World Champions for 5 match T20I series
The last time Zimbabwe won against India in a T20I was back in 2016.

The T20 World Cup champions will begin their new journey from tomorrow as the Indian side will face Zimbabwe for a 5 match T20I series.
The Zimbabwean team missed out on playing the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 after losing to Uganda in the qualification round. This will be the start of Zimbabwe's journey for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka. Zimbabwe will see optimism from the series, they're hosting India means there'll be more money on the cards and also it'll strengthen their skills.
On the other hand, India have sent a completely different team that they had in the mega event. They'll be with their future stars with Shubman Gill all set to lead the side. There are spots up for grabs in the Indian lineup after the retirements of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Two of them, in particular, which Gill, Abhishek Sharma and Ruturaj Gaikwad will be vying each other to make their own.
