Brian Bennett and Ben Curran's sensational 95-run opening stand handed Zimbabwe a thrilling 3-wicket victory over Bangladesh. Bangladesh had a horrendous start, losing their skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto only the second ball of the day after his gritty 60 off 105 balls. Bangladesh lost cluster of wickets in the middle order as Blessing Muzarabani ran riot through the Bangladesh middle order.

However, Jaker Ali Anik stood tall amid the collapse and stitched a crucial 35 off 91 ball partnership, whereas Jaker Ali made a gutsy fifty and helped the hosts get past over 250, with a lead of 173 runs.

In reply, Brian Bennett and Ben Curran gave Zimbabwe a sensational start, adding 95-run opening stand, whereas Brian Bennett brought up a fine fifty and Curran made 44 off 75 deliveries.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz brought Bangladesh back with back-to-back wickets. But some runs here and there put the game on. Wesley Madhvere played a gritty knock, consuming 55 balls and scoring 19* and helping his side get a thrilling 3-wicket victory.
