Ashiqur Rahman Shibli is now Asia's best age-level batter considering his performance in the Asia Cup. This young cricketer from Bangladesh is being compared by many to one of the best batters in the current generation, Virat Kohli. Shibli also follows Kohli. Shibli came into the center of praise for his cool batting skills. 

“I learned from my district coach. My brother helped me a lot. I follow Virat Kohli. I played my game. I tried to bat patiently, whatever happened, happened,” Shibli said.

Shibli feels that the under-19 team was able to win the Asia Cup because of the bond among the team members. He added, “Bonding is needed behind a team result. If there was no bonding, we would not win a match in individual performance, and we would not become a champion. Our team bonding made us champions. There was only one goal, to play match by match.”

This cricketer who has become a star wants to go play good match by match ahead of the World Cup. He further said, “InshaAllah we will try to give our best. I never had the mindset of being the highest run scorer. I will try to do what my team wants.”
