Uganda have qualified for the upcoming T20 WC, 2024 in USA and West Indies. After Beating Rwanda by 9 wickets and 71 balls in hand Uganda booked their tickets for the upcoming T20 world cup. Namibia already reached the T20 world cup from Africa qualifiers and now Uganda joined them. Zimbabwe failed to qualify for the T20 world cup.

Earlier, Uganda won the toss and opted to bowl first. Their bowlers ran riot through the deplated Rwandan side. There have been firing spells from Alpesh Ramjani, Dinesh Nakrani, Ssenyondo and Masaba. All of them shared 2 wickets each and helped Uganda bundle Rwanda for a measly 65 runs.

In reply, Uganda started off to a flier. Their gun opener Simon Ssesazi scored a fantastic 26 off just 21 balls which helped Uganda to seal the match. Mukasa too pkayed a fine knock off 13 off 8 balls and Uganda won the match to book their tickets for 2024 T20 world cup.

With the win of Uganda, Zimbabwe will miss the upcoming T20 world cup. They'll be gutted for their underperformance against Uganda, as Uganda beat Zimbabwe by 5 wickets in a thrilling match.

Uganda for the very first time reached any ICC tournaments and it'll help their country to have a revolution in Cricket.
