With the upcoming ODI series against Afghanistan approaching, Hridoy stands ready to shoulder extra responsibility, particularly in the absence of star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan.

Before departing for Dubai, Hridoy shared his mindset with the media, emphasizing his flexibility with the batting order. “As I've mentioned before, I’m ready to adapt wherever the team needs me,” Hridoy said, underscoring his commitment to putting the team’s priorities above his own batting position. “The order will be decided based on the team's best interests and what the situation demands,” he added.

With both Shakib and Litton Das absent from this series, Hridoy acknowledges that Bangladesh's batting lineup could see adjustments. “Batting roles will likely shift, and we’ll have clarity once we’re on the field. I’m prepared to play in any position the team requires,” he further said.
