Prottoy Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament 2018 organized by TK Sports Dhaka rolled on Saturday (17th November) with the inaugural match between Azam Group and Aamra Companies.

TK Sports organized Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament 2018 starts in Dhaka

Azam Group won the toss and sent Aamra to bat first. In their stipulated 20 overs, Aamra scored 121 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Azam Group successfully chased the target in 18th over to reach 125 runs losing 7 wickets leading them to a 3 wickets win over Aamra. Azam Group captain Razeeb Hasan was adjudged man of the match. He scored 49 runs. In the second match of the day Laila Cricket Club locked horns with Bashundhora Food where Laila Cricket Club defeated Bashundhora Group by 4 wickets. Bashundhora Food, batting first, scored 124 runs losing all their wickets. Laila Cricket Club chased sharply to reach into the victory target within 15 overs. They lost 6 wickets in the process. Hannan Sharkar of Laila Cricket Club became the second man of the match of the day. TK Sports organized Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament 2018 starts in Dhaka

All the matches of the tournament are being held at the City Club Ground in Mirpur, Dhaka. All the matches are to telecast live from the facebook page and YouTube channel of TK Sports, Dhaka. At the beginning of the day, the official inauguration was done by four national team cricketers Sohrwardi Shuvo, Imrul Kayes, Jahurul Islam Omi and Mossharrof Rubel. A total of 16 teams are participating in the competition. The title sponsor of the tournament is 'Prottoy Medical Clinic Limited' and 'Rangpur Riders.' Laila Group, Revjol Lubricants, Tex Syle BD Limited and AMGT are co-sponsors of the tournament. 'Kaler Kontho' is the print media partner and Bdcrictime.com is the online media partner of the occasion while Dhaka FM 90.4 is working as the radio partner. Before that TK Sports arranged a splendid jersey and trophy unveiling ceremony of the competition on 12th of this month at the Uttara Convention Center.
