With six sixes in one over, Sri Lankan all-rounder Thisara Perera has made cricket history again. This time it was in the Asian Legends League. He is one of only a few players in professional cricket history to have done this twice. He did it against the Afghanistan Pathans in the eliminator match.

With 13 sixes and two fours in his 108 off of just 36 balls, Perera smashed the Sri Lankan Lions to a huge 230/3 in 20 overs. Mevan Fernando's 81-run knock helped him keep up his amazing effort.

In reaction, the Afghanistan Pathans fought hard and scored 204/4 in 20 overs. Former Afghanistan captain Asghar Afghan hit 70 off of 31 balls. That being said, the target was too high, and Sri Lankan Lions won.
This isn't the first time Perera has shown off his ability to hit sixes. When he played for Army Sports Club against Bloomfield Cricket Club in Sri Lanka's Major Club Limited Over Tournament in 2021, he hit six sixes in one over.
