This was probably my last match in England: Tamim after Ireland series
England is quite a memorable place for Tamim. His brilliant century against England at Lord's is still remembered by fans. No one should forget his extraordinary batting in the 2017 Champions Trophy. This series will probably be Tamim's last game in England. That's why Tamim wanted to show something special.

Bangladesh's tour of England is the last for now. The Tigers are returning home after defeating Ireland 2-0 in the series. Captain Tamim Iqbal scored a great fifty in the last match.
England is quite a memorable place for Tamim. His brilliant century against England at Lord's is still remembered by fans. No one should forget his extraordinary batting in the 2017 Champions Trophy. This series will probably be Tamim's last game in England. That's why Tamim wanted to show something special.
In the press conference after the match, Tamim said, "Before playing the series, I was thinking that there is no game in our schedule for 3-4 years. I was trying to do something special here because when I first came here I did something special here (century at Lord's). Unfortunately, I couldn't. I had some runs today, it was good."
Tamim added, “The fans’ support has always been something special for us. I am not sure if I can play in England again in international cricket. We don't tour much in England to play with the England team. It seems that there is no game even in the next 3-4 years. This was probably my last match here, I really enjoyed it.”
Tamim also did not hide his regret of not being able to make his fifty bigger, “A bit disappointed because I should have continued. We were in that situation. But when you have such a long career there are going to be a lot of ups and downs. In the last 2-3 series I was not at my best. But I believed I was only one match away. If I could have made today's innings bigger, I would have been happier.”
