The opening day of the India and New Zealand's first Test match at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium has been washed out.
It was pouring down from the morning for a long time. And then rain eased out but the drizzles were going. Due to th heavy rain lunch was taken earlier on. But rain was persistent even after lunch.
Rain stopped for a while at the middle but came again strongly. Due to the persistent rain throughout the day, the opening day had to call off and the inevitable happened.
After losing the entire day, there's a revised session timings revealed for day 2:
- Morning session : 9:15- 11:30
- Afternoon session : 12:10-14:25
- Evening session : 14:45-16:45
