The complete fixture for the SA20 2025 have been announced on Monday (September 2). The third edition of South Africa's biggest T20 extravaganza will start from Thursday, January 9, 2025.

The defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape taking on MI Cape Town at St.George's Park in Port Elizabeth. The final is all set to be held at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Six teams will be fighting for the glory the T20 glory.

"We're thrilled to start the season in Gqeberha with our defending champions and look forward to an action-packed summer of cricket. As we welcome international talent to the roaring pool of local stars, we aim to deliver an unforgettable experience for both players and fans alike," Graeme Smith, SA20 league commissioner said in a statement.

All the six teams have acquired 14-17 players in their arsenal, just a few short of of the maximum of 19. The remaining players will be added as their auction will take place on October 1.

The Sunrisers Eastern Cape became the inaugural champions of the SA20 in 2023 after beating the Pretoria Capitals by four wickets. Eastern Cape successful defended their crown in SA20 2024 and became the two times champions, aiming for a hat trick title.
