Ireland Women's have crashed Bangladesh Women's by 47 runs to clinch the T20I series with one game to go. Gritty 30's knocks from Orla Prendergast and Laura Delany helped the visitors get to 134 on the boare. In reply, Orla Prendergast ran riot and picked up three wickets to bundle Bangladesh out for 87 runs.

Opting to bat first, wicketkeeper batter Amy Hunter and skipper Gaby Lewis stitched 34-run opening partnership together before Nahida Akter removed the latter one. Jannatul Ferdous pinned on Amy Hunter after her run-a-ball 23.

Orla Prendergast came in and scored a fine 32 off 25 balls, while lower order batter Laura Delany scored a superb 35 off just 25 deliveries, including 4 boundaries to help their side get to 134 on the board.

In reply, Orla Prendergast rattled through the Bangladesh top order, removing both the openers cheaply and left them stuttering earlier on. Sharmin Akhter, however, stood tall and played a gutsy knock of 38 off 43 balls but couldn’t accelerate the innings when needed.

Except for her, no one batter stood as Bangladesh collapsed horribly in the run chase.

Bangladesh Women's were all-out for only 87 runs and lost the game by 47 runs. Orla Prendergast was adjusted as the player of the match for her all-round brilliance.
