Being asked to bat first, Jaffan Kings started going rapidly as Pathum Nissanka made the most of powerplay. Kusal Mendis was playing the second fiddle role before falling to LBW.
Number three batter Riley Rossow's blitzkrieg 41 off only 18 deliveries upped the ante of Jaffna Kings' innings. Nissanka hold on there and ultimately brought up his hundred and scored a sledgehammering 119 off just 59 deliveries to help his side post 224 on the board.
In reply, Dinesh Chandimal got no time to start as he set the world on fire to blaze an outrageous 89 off only 37 deliveries, which included 7 monstrous sixes and 8 boundaries.
After the departure of Chandimal, Kamindu Mendis took the onus on his shoulders as he blazed a blasting 65 off 36 balls to chase down the total at ease. Falcons lost just 3 wickets and had more than 8 balls to chase down the total.
